Virtual or Remote Online Notarization (RON) is a process that enables individuals to complete a notarization remotely through an electronic device and secure internet connection, offering a convenient and efficient alternative to in-person notarization.

Virtual Notary Requirements


Valid Government Issued ID

The signer must provide valid. unexpired, government issued ID card showing proof of identity. This can include a valid drivers license,  passport, or state identification card. Signers will also  have to pass Knowledge Based Authentication (KBA) as part of the ID verification process.


Electronic Device

Smartphone,  laptop, or desktop computer is required to complete a remote online notarization. The signers electronic device must have audio/video capabilities to meet with the notary online in the RON platform.


Pertaining to US Business

According to Colorado State Notary Law requires that we only notarize documents that pertain to US businesses only. As such,  RON is only available to this type of transaction. If you have any questions or need clarification please contact us.


Internet Connection

A reliable and secure internet connection is essential for a smooth remote online notary appointment. Make sure to have a strong and stable connection before your appointment to avoid any technical issues. We highly suggest the use of Google Chrome internet browser for best results.

Book Appointment

Book an appointment by selecting how many documents you need notarized then choosing a date and time that works best for you. The only information we need to confirm the appointment is your full name, email address, cell phone number. Your personal information is in safe hands and will be handled with the highest level of confidentiality.

Upload Documents

Next, submit your documents to our secure portal at least 2 hours prior to your appointment. Once documents are received, you will be sent an email with a link to access the online notary session. For your security and privacy, all documents will be deleted within 24 hours or after your notary appointment is completed, which ever comes first.

About five minutes prior to appointment time, you will be prompted to click on a secure link sent directly to the email address you provided. Simply upload a photo of your identification and complete Knowledge Based Authentication (KBA)  then meet with your online notary. After the notarization is complete your document will be available for instant download or will be emailed to you.
